PUBLIC HEARING - JULY 2, 2008

Aging and Long Term Care of Eastern Washington (ALTCEW) invites you to attend our upcoming public hearing. The public hearing is being held to receive comments on plans to address significant issues, needs, gaps or obstacles that impact older persons and individuals with disabilities living in northern Ferry, Pend Oreille, Spokane, Stevens and Whitman Counties. Comments will also be received on plans related to need and resource information for Health Promotion/Disease Prevention services in the Spokane County Subregion, Minor Home Repair services in the Spokane County and Tri-County Subregions and Senior Legal Assistance services in the Spokane County and Tri-County Subregions.
A copy of the information being discussed at the public hearing is accessible by clicking on the link below, or may be requested by calling (509) 458-2509 Ext. 211, or by emailing us at ACTION@ALTCEW.org. Written comments may also be submitted to ACTION@ALTCEW.org or mailed to the address listed below.

Implementation of New Referral and Workforce Resource Centers (Referral Registry)

On January 18, 2005, Aging and Long Term Care of Eastern Washington began implementation of new Referral and Workforce Resource Centers (Referral Registry) serving Spokane, Whitman, Ferry, Pend Oreille and Stevens counties. The Referral Registry is a web-based database of individual in-home providers who are ready and available to work.
