Housing Support Services

We offer two housing support programs and can connect you with other helpful resources. Our programs include:

Foundational Community Supports (FCS) – Supportive Housing

FCS Supportive Housing is a Medicaid-funded program that is aimed at creating healthier lives for those who face barriers for safe, stable housing. If you are homeless or at risk of losing your home, you may qualify for a housing voucher or rent help.

In 2020, over 85,000 Medicaid recipients in Washington were homeless or living in unsafe housing. Our goal is to help these individuals find permanent housing. To qualify, you must be 18 or older and on Medicaid. Call us at 509-960-7281 to see if you qualify! Please note, there is a waiting list.

We can help you with:

  • Housing assessments and removing barriers to housing
  • Finding housing resources and navigating systems of care
  • Getting a lease or rebuilding your credit/eviction history
  • Developing independent living skills
  • Landlord/tenant issues and advocacy
  • Crisis management and temporary housing
  • Referrals for legal or financial aid
Housing Specialists

Our Community Living Connections program at Aging & Long Term Care has Housing Specialists available. Housing Specialists can help older adults and people living with a disability (18+) who are not on Medicaid with many of the same challenges listed above and can connect you to additional services. If you are facing a housing issue, call us right away. Don’t wait for an eviction notice!
