Your voice matters! Attend Aging & Long Term Care’s Community Forum

Aging & Long Term Care of Eastern Washington (ALTCEW) invites you to attend one of our upcoming community forums! At this meeting we will discuss our plan for providing services for older adults age 60+, individuals with disabilities, caregivers, individuals needing long term care, and people who work with any of the populations listed.

This is your opportunity to provide feedback to your local Area Agency on Aging that will be used to help create our 2024 – 2027 Area Plan. All Area Agencies on Aging are required to develop an Area Plan. This includes demographics, trends, budget information, available services, and much more. The plan also provides an overview of how the agency plans to prioritize services and distribute funding. This is revised every four years, and updated every two. The final plan is submitted to the Aging and Long Term Support Administration.

We want to hear from you about the services you use and need, including but not limited to transportation, nutrition, in-home care, caregiver support services, medical and mental health services, and housing. If you have concerns or thoughts about any of these topics, we strongly encourage you to attend an upcoming community forum. Learn more about our agency and Area Plan at www.altcew.org/about-who-we-are/area-plan.
